well ive recentley been on holiday in thailand and mojarity off them are either transuxuals prositudes and really small. but most of them are really nice and very verry respectfull. but the anglo-thai they aint very nice .x

I was in thailand back in 2001 with my then bf. We both been to phuket and bangkok. we both notice that mostly if not all bar girl are not pretty the odd is the LADY BOYS are more girl looking than the real girl. I also observed that European men likes to hang out with lady boys than girls. this is just my observation to what i see and my experience in thailand. But we do had fun there. I wish to go back there anytime i got chance. nice place people, cool people but hard to talk to them because few speak english well.

I came across a girl in Thailand who had a Thai symbol tattooed onto her finger. Are finger tattoos common in Thailand and generally what meaning do they have? Just curious.

Finger tattoo is just a fashion statement in modern Thailand culture same as in Europe. Normally it doesn’t mean anything other than ‘cool!’.

However, the traditional kind of tattoos are believed to have magical powers, depending on the symbol. It’s considered to be men’s thing, not for women.

Traditionally Thai women should not wear any tattoo. Marks on women skin was considered bad. But for young women now a day, having a tattoo done, means: brave, careless, free and equality to opposite sex, which they were long fighting for.

I was born in Thailand. I also have a tattoo. It was damn hurt (T_T)
