I often hear about "good thai girls" or "this is my wife, she never worked bar". These gentlemen are obviously fools. I fail to see any difference between Thais in the bars or other Thais. Are they not just the same?
Responding to Crybaby Bob: There are only 5 million women of "working age" 18 – 28. If, as you say, 2 million are prostitutes that is 40% of Thai women are prostitutes.

The gogo girls come from every corner of Thailand so it makes sense they would be representative. Thais are all for sale, I see no difference.
