I am going on a Thailand traveling holiday from 15th July – 6th August, and would just like to know if anyone recommends any good travel insurance as I don’t know who to go with?? I cannot book under backpackers insurance as am not away for enough days! Any help would be appreciated
Look at the small print with a magnifying glass as most policies have cop outs, like riding on a scooter, getting beamed by a lady-boy in your hotel when you discover the truth, and so on,make sure you have full medical repatriation to your country.and make sure if indulging that your Thai partner is over the age of consent, as in that area of Asia it is easy pickings for the pigs to get arrests and brownie points.

Need to book holiday in Thailand for August. I used Expedia last time I went but am sure there’s companies cheaper. Am looking to book flights plus hotel.
Any recommendations from people who have used internet sites to book Thai breaks?
Thanks in advance
You should try using Wishcraft – they use their contacts to sort out holidays for people and we always use them. They have always got us a good deal and it take all the hassle out of it having the organising done for you.

We are going on our honeymoon in Thailand for 4 weeks. How much should we budget for food and spending each week? We will be staying in Koh Samui for 2 weeks, then going on a tour of Thailand for the other two.
Also, does anyone have any recommendations for tours?
But you can decide that for your self. Don’t take a fancy hotel. Find a cheap nice guesthouse with breakfast. That make you come near the culture and friendly people. Use the small food stalls around – taste soo goood. I will say you can get a good holiday for around 1000 bath a day – guesthouse included.
When you go for tour – then go to Kanchanaburi, with River Kwai bridge, tiger temple, water falls, jungle, hill tribes, elephant trekking, rafting, boat trips and a fantastic stunning nature – all settled in one place. Kanchanaburi is located 2 hours driving from Bkk.

Thailand has many beautyful holidays, such as Songkran 13-15 April-Thai new year festival, when men pour water on women…play with water. Then May 5th. the Coronation day…July 17th. Buddhist lent day….12 August Queens birthday-which is also used as "Mother`s day" in U.S….12 November Loy Kratong festival-when they light candles and let them float on small floats on the water-in memory of their dead loved ones-(Ibelieve). 10 December-constitution day. and 5th. December King`s birthday. ..just few of Thai holidays…And they also celebrate western calendar New Year, and Christmass …(Chinese New Year is not a national holiday in Thailand-but Songkran is.)

Just a consideration at the moment, but wondering whether to focus on organised ‘bachelor’ stays (i.e. all-in price; flights accommodation and guides), or whether to travel independently and employ guides when arrive out there. Anyone with experience and an opinion on which offers the most enjoyment and value for money?
Forget the organized adult "bachelor" trips.
Just get on a plane and fly to Pattaya.
It’s obvious what you are looking for. Read up on Pattaya.
