Iris beach is ideally located just 30 meters from the golden, sandy beach of Malia right on the bottom of the bar street where you’ll find all of the hottest bars of Malia and everything else that you could possibly want from the resort is close at hand and 20 minutes by car from the International Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” in Heraklion. Excellent value for money self catering apartments in a central location.

Facilities at Iris Beach include a swimming pool, billiard table, internet corner, free wifi access. Oscars bar serving delicious breakfast and food all day and very cheap drinks for our guests with really good offers at night, it’s a good spot to start your nightout. Also there are private tv’s where you can play ps3 for free or watch football games or films.

Malia is the place where they are shooting their new film and Iris beach proudly helped the production making the film. The cast were using some of the rooms for changing and the actors used to come after shooting for few drinks and a game of pool in Oscars bar almost every night during their stay. I bet there is no country in this world who can match Thailand in terms of night life, night clubs, fun, action and so on.
Southern Thailand is a virtual night owl’s dream. The nightlife is overwhelming like a tsunami. Just have some beer and drift most of the time you don’t know where you end up, this is somehow interesting and sometimes it hurts, mainly the hangover next day.
Go-Go bars, nightclubs, coyote dancing places, table dancing bars, cafe’s with dozens of girls who sing for you, countless karaoke entertainment plus myriads pubs and bars.
The main action in southern Thailand’s nightlife is on in Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand. Bars, girl pick up places, places where some hanky panky business is going on somewhere hidden in the back. Sidewalk stalls offering beer just out of the refrigerator, its loud and its fun.
Upper market chic clubs packed with ‘farang’ getting happy with the new companion and real good Thai pop music.
Phuket – Patong Beach has the third largest gay and lesbian crowd in Thailand, after Bangkok and Pattaya and is probably the best environment for a nice gay – lesbian holiday or vacation.
Very popular in Thailand is ‘ coyote dancing’
-yes you heard right the coyote dancing girls give their best in very slim outfits, very sexy…actually sexy number 1.

Lady Boys in Thailand have been quite the norm for hundreds of years. I have nothing against them, in fact some of them are great entertainers, some like to pose for photos in exchange for a small tip, but some just pester tourists on the street for sex! One night I sat above my friends ‘Sea Dragon’ bar and took some shots. These Lady Boy pests are quite persistent and they always make a bee line for the Japanese.
